- Content calendar: plan 4-8 weeks ahead — mix of informational (blog), commercial (comparison), transactional (landing page)
- Pillar + cluster model: one comprehensive pillar page linked to multiple cluster articles
- Update cadence: refresh high-traffic content quarterly — update stats, screenshots, links
- Internal linking: every new article links to 2-3 existing articles and vice versa
- AI visibility: check what ChatGPT/Gemini say about your topic (use YepAPI AI visibility endpoints) — optimize for AI citations
- Measure: track rankings with YepAPI domain keywords + organic traffic in analytics
## Avoid
- Publishing without keyword research — content without search demand won't rank
- Only targeting high-difficulty keywords — mix in low-difficulty terms for quick wins
